Recreation center "Caravan" Eco-Resort №866

I was really unhappy with my stay at the "Caravan" holiday center. The staff didn't get things ready for us at all. It was cold in the suites, and a lot of stuff didn't work - the kettle, the stove, the lights in one room and the bathroom, the boiler, and sometimes even the cold water stopped working. The air conditioning was also broken, and some of the furniture had broken drawers. The bathroom was a whole other issue - it was dirty and moldy, the stove was leaking, it was drafty, and the shower was in such bad shape I can't even explain it.
The only good things were the clean bed sheets and the double-glazed windows.
Overall, I was really disappointed.
P.S. I would have given it 0.5 stars if I could have.

October 2021. This place is far from a training facility.

I booked a suite and a sauna a week in advance and paid upfront. I even confirmed the day before my departure and called an hour before arriving to make sure everything was set.

When we got there, the house was freezing cold (both inside and outside were +8) and there was no hot water.

The sauna wasn't ready and only started getting prepared after two reminders. It was eventually ready late in the evening. But it was still cold inside, and the steam room only stayed warm for about 20 minutes. Instead of the brooms we had ordered, they gave us freshly picked branches from bushes. The sauna had cracks and mold on the walls.

The place had constant electricity issues. The heating devices, kettle, boiler, and stove weren't working.

The place didn't live up to my expectations. Initially, they quoted one price over the phone, but by the time I got there, the price had gone up. They even tried to pass off a regular room as a suite, which it clearly wasn't. The electric stoves barely heated up, making it impossible to cook anything. The faucets were falling apart too. Overall, I had a pretty questionable experience.

The place has issues with basic amenities like electricity and water. The kettle and boiler don't heat up, and even the air conditioner doesn't work properly. The suite is just average and doesn't live up to standard expectations. Overall, it feels like no one is really concerned about maintaining the place. I would not suggest staying here.

The rooms at this place aren't even up to basic standards. The air conditioning didn't work for heating, and it took four hours for the electric heaters to raise the room temperature from 8 to 13 degrees Celsius. We had issues with the electricity, as it took 30 minutes to boil water in the kettle and we were unable to cook pasta on the stove because the water wouldn't boil. The water heater was cold even though it looked like it was on. The kitchen was ill-equipped; there was an empty dish soap bottle and no microwave. The light bulbs flickered constantly like a strobe light, so we had to turn them off as it was hurting our eyes. We frequently had problems with the water supply and had to keep calling for help. Finally, we were initially asked to pay 900 UAH per room, but when we arrived, they demanded 1000 UAH instead.

Nice scenery, decent amenities and careful guest handling.

I wish I had read the bad reviews beforehand. The place was really dirty and the suite rooms were terrible. The place looked like a dump and was falling apart. There was no service at all - the basic staff didn't even know who was arriving, where they were going or what time they were supposed to arrive. The only "eco-friendly" thing about it was the lack of proper mobile phone signal. As for the internet, it was even worse. The staff said "I've turned on your Wi-Fi, but there's no internet." In one of the suites, half the lights didn't work and there was no hot water, there was a hole in the floor covered by linoleum, and in another, it smelled like sewage. The rental price wasn't set and would change based on the staff's mood.

On the plus side, the place had double-glazed windows, radiators that warmed up the room in about 5-6 hours, and a boiler that heated water in 3-4 hours.

This is a nice and pretty place to take a break. It's in the "Caravan" nature reserve. I've been there two times during autumn, it's lovely. It's peaceful, comfortable, has everything you need and it doesn't cost much.
