2. I can't give less than one star.
The spa looks old and worn out, and the outdoor jacuzzi wasn't working. Maybe it's too expensive to run.
My suggestion is to stay away from this place. You'll be upset about the money and time you wasted.
My husband decided to get some spa treatments. We tried a hamam (Turkish bath) with a coffee scrub for the first time. It was really cool. The treatment was done by a masseur and a lady who also did face massages. The sauna and salt room were nice, but the Jacuzzi was cold. On our first day, we managed to do these treatments and look around.
Later, we went to the hotel's restaurant. The food was very expensive and not worth the price. But, there was one good waiter. We ordered a salad with octopus and it was good.
Seasons Spa is a nice place.
The room is clean and has everything you need.
The workers are nice, kind, and helpful.
You can do all the treatments you need.
Big thanks to the massage person, my daughter was really happy and positive.
We got a surprise from the restaurant.
The only thing is the restaurant is a bit expensive, but they surprised us with a gift cake for a birthday and a free coffee in the morning, which was really good.
It's a good place if you like a peaceful holiday.
Thanks a lot for a great time to relax and rest.
1. The place isn't too big.
2. The staff is nice.
3. It's clean.
Negative points:
1. Everything seems old and worn out.
2. It's too expensive.
3. When I ordered a pork kebab, I didn't expect to find half meat and half veins in it, which were too tough to chew.
But remember, this is just my opinion.
The food doesn't taste good, the towels are worn out and old. The pool water feels like it has soap in it.
Downsides:
- The bed was only 160cm, not 200cm as we were told over the phone.
- There were 2 mattresses on one bed. We shared the bed with our child and the gap in the middle was uncomfortable.
- It was noisy until midnight or 1am because of a nearby restaurant. This woke us up several times and we really wanted a good night's sleep.
- There were no screens on the windows.
- We couldn't change our towels. If we used them at the spa and then wanted to go to the pool, we had to use the same wet towel. This was strange and not very customer-friendly.
- The children's menu was listed on the website, but it wasn't available in the restaurant.
They need to fix things up!
The name suggests that it was supposed to be a private experience for two people.
However, after we changed into bathrobes, we found a lot of men and women sharing the same Jacuzzi.
This was a big surprise!
We went back to the front desk to ask about this. The person there told us the program name didn't matter and we couldn't get a refund.
So, we left and went to a different spa. We still haven't gotten our money back, but I won't let this go.
Bad things: 1) The rooms aren't great. They're cold and the design feels old-fashioned, like a Soviet-era health resort that's been fixed up. To watch TV, you have to unplug the fridge because there aren't enough outlets. They gave us an extension cord when we asked. 2) The Finnish sauna has dark wood paneling that needs to be updated. 3) The property is small and close to the road, so there's not much space to walk around.
In conclusion: We'll return to the spa, but not the hotel.
Here are some good things about it:
- It's near Kiev.
- The spa is in the same building as the hotel which is very handy.
- The steam room is pretty good.
- The receptionists are friendly and always smiling.
- They serve a nice breakfast buffet in the morning.
However, there were some issues:
- The room was very cold. Even though we had booked three days earlier and were expected, it seemed like they only turned the heating on when we checked in. It was really cold and the radiator didn't have enough time to warm up. Considering it was winter and the temperature outside ranged between -9⁰ and -12⁰, this was a big problem, especially since we were on the first floor.
- The TV in the standard room was really small, like a laptop screen. We ended up watching movies on our laptop instead.
- The spa is quite small.
